PRIVATE OPEN WATER TRAINING WITH A.A.U.

Too busy for our scheduled classes? Choose one from the following:

The Semi-private / Personal Open Water Training is a training option for you if you would like to have a more personalized schedule while you complete the academics and the pool sessions of the Open Water Diver Course. You can arrange with your Instructor to meet at your pool or at your office at anytime convenient for you. (Or we can arrange to meet at our pool and classroom)
As far as the open water dives are concerned, you can join an existing group of Open Water students and complete your training while diving with other enthusiastic divers and share the adventure and fun. Price includes training materials (PADI Crew Pack), all primary equipment (tank, wet suit, regulator with full instrumentation, weights and buoyancy compensator), examination fee and a Certification Card process. $550 + boat fees
Personal items are needed for training: mask, fin, snorkel, boots, gloves, equipment bag and a timing device  -ALL STUDENTS RECEIVE 20% OFF ON ANY PURCHASES MADE

The Private / Executive Open Water Training  usually requires four full days. This, of course, can be divided into any size pieces you desire. The schedule is only limited by your desires. The duration of the course is solely based of your performance. This training is performance based. This means that we move from one topic to the next based on you feeling comfortable and confident in what you have learned. We certainly build in plenty of time for free time and practice as well. Price includes training materials (PADI Crew Pack), all primary equipment (tank, wet suit, regulator with full instrumentation, weights and buoyancy compensator), examination fee and a Certification Card process. $750 + boat fees
Personal items are needed for training: mask, fin, snorkel, boots, gloves, equipment bag and a timing device  -ALL STUDENTS RECEIVE 20% OFF ON ANY PURCHASES MADE

DIVES: We do not beach dive, simply because it is not fun, not easy and not safe. We take you diving to have FUN. The dive park fee is $95, which includes the Catalina Express return trip, transportation of your gear to and from the dive park (you will be happy about this!) and air fills. The dive boat fee varies on the boat used, but the current cost for the Sea Bass trip is $135. This includes breakfast and lunch, air fills and boat ride out and back to Santa Catalina Island.
